The whole territory of the province of Rovigo is included in the areas recognised by the European Union and designed to receive Communitarian Structural Funds for the period 2000-2006.

In particular all the Municipalities of the province are included in the Objective 2 areas provided by the Regulation CE n°1260/99, except the historic centre of the administrative centre town, which is among the zones admitted to transitory support.

Following such insertion the territory of the province of Rovigo, the companies system, the single entrepreneurial activities can use financial and fiscal facilitations, to support their investment programs.

Furthermore some supporting activities are provided for companies that realise financial investments in the Polesine territory, deriving from national and regional regulations, that make a mix of great interest, composed either by funds without security as well as favour rate funds.

This allows the entrepreneur to calibrate the available favourable conditions, according to his specific needs, and to evaluate how to program his investment and how to benefit from the public intervention on a single case basis.
