The province of Rovigo is candidate to the role of logistic platform in the North of Italy thanks to the network of road and intermodal infrastructures that have been realised and that allows easy relationships between Northern Europe and the Mediterranean Sea, Italy and Eastern Europe.

In the direction from north to south there is the motorway A/13, that links Venice to Bologna, which airports can be reached from Rovigo in less than one hour drive: the connection between Verona - Europa Quadrant- and the province of Rovigo is secured by the Transpolesana Highway; the intersection between the motorway north-south and viability east-west is under definition, with the conclusion of the works for the motorway crossing point of Villamarzana.

The realisation of the Romea Commerciale and its conjunction with the Transpolesana will allow the reinforcement and will facilitate the connections along the Adriatic ridge, reinforcing road E45-E55.

Further impulse to the north-south connections will arrive thanks to the realisation of the southern part of the Valdastico road, that will connect Vicenza to the province of Rovigo, joining then the Transpolesana.

The territory of the province of Rovigo is crossed also by the fluvial way that connects to Mantova, Cremona, Milano and that implements lot of potential connections with various areas of the country. Unique of that kind in Italy is the Interport of Rovigo, infrastructure that integrates roads, waterways and railways transports representing an opportunity for the productive system interested either in the internal and export markets.

The Company Centro Servizi SpA has been established since 1991 in order to favour the presence of the Expo Centre of the university and of a Meeting Centre in the town, administrative centre of the province of Rovigo, which through financing plans from the European Community, Venetian Region, the contribute of the Fondazione della Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo, the interventions of the Province, of the Municipality, of the Camber of Commerce I.A.A., of the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo SpA, has already restructured great part of the area of the former sugar plant.

Available for companies there are up to now 6.000 sm of internal expositive area, 12.000 sm of external expositive area, a Meeting room with 480 seats, as well as the head office of the University Consortium of Rovigo, and the rooms for academic activities promoted by the University of Padoa. Censer SpA has enlarged its activity of management, promotion and organization of expositions and events since 2001, undersigning a convention with Padoa Expo.

The Consortium for development, in agreement with Institutions and Companies operating according to Measure 2.5 "development of Information Companies" of the Docup ob. 2 200-2006 of the Venetia Region, has started the realisation of the technologic structure for the broadband in west-east direction through POLESINE TLC Agency
