The activity to favour the realisation of financed initiatives to promote the economic and social development of the province of Rovigo represents the peculiarity of the Consortium for Development of Polesine.

In the past such activity has been focused on the management of communitarian, national and regional interventions designed to the territory of Polesine, while nowadays the action is qualified by actions designed to support "System" interventions, like projecting, realizing, coordinating the Territory Agreement "Company Project Rovigo-Europa", of the Territorial Agreement for Agriculture and fishing of Rovigo, of the Agreement Protocol for insertion in the territorial plane of objectives for development and promotion of trades.

Consolidating the local governance, through the synergy of Institutions, Social and Functional Autonomies, represents the daily activity ambient, that has collected also recently, appreciable confirmations, with the approval of the Venetian Region of the Agreement for the Venetian District of the Carousel and the Agreement for the development of the Fishy sector of the Province of Rovigo proposed basing on the Regional law 8/2003 - "Discipline of the productive districts and interventions of local industrial policy".
